I had been looking for a repair shop that I could trust and believe in since I moved here from Texas. I had used a couple of shops some friends at work had recommended but was really never satisfied. Though I live in Petaluma, I decided to bring my 2003 Acura RSX into K-Tech from the reviews I read and had heard how professional they were as well as their attention to detail. I was not disappointed! I had recently replaced the struts on the car but the car never felt right and one of the first recommendations by K-Tech was that my upper and lower control arms were worn and should be replaced. They sent me pictures of the control arms and even as a lay person one could see that they were completely shot. I wondered why the previous two shops that had replaced the front and rear struts never brought that to my attention. Well when I got the car back and drove it for the first time I could tell from the handling that I was driving for a long time with a car that was compromised. The pricing for the job was competitive and I never once thought I otherwise. I had brought the car in for a number of smaller issues such as replacing my windshield washer pump which I did not tell them it was broken but they found it was not working due to their thorough inspection process. Again small items that I knew needed work but just kept putting it off. For instance my head lights had once again gotten oxidized and really had reduced the effectiveness of the head lights and actually a couple of times I almost missed a turn at night because they were so dim. In the past I would buff them out but K-tech offered to do the work for a reasonable cost and dear god I have never had brighter headlights even after all the times I thought I had done a good job buffing them out myself. These were just a few things of the many that they got right and I could not be happier! I will be bringing my car back to them and spreading the word to friends and co-workers to bring their cars to K-tech for service.

K-Tech treated me so well! My 5-year-old car battery had fully discharged while I was unable to drive for a month for medical reasons. AAA got my car started but said I needed a new battery ASAP. K-Tech got me in right away despite a lot full of cars, gave me a good price and special perks. This was during the Coronavirus shelter-in-place order except for essential services, and I am in a high-risk group. Fortunately, K-Tech was an essential service. To keep me and all of us safe, they continually sprayed and wiped down everything in the office, the shop, the cars they worked on. They went out of their way to make it all safe and less stressful. Plus they were warm and friendly, and I felt valued as a customer and as a human being. Highly recommended.

I have had an ongoing issue with my Mazda 3 for a few years and K-Tech solved it within a couple of hours. This comes after a few misdiagnosed "fixes" by other local mechanics over the past 3 years. My engine is sounding nearly new. I appreciate the THROUGHOUT inspection of the car by the mechanics as well as the accompanying sheet of pictures and descriptions of all issues my car is having. From this list, I can choose what to fix now and what to kick down the road until next time. This record of itemization of priorities is what will keep me coming back. I will always know what is on it's way out and can stay on top of the mechanical problems and hopefully, get a few thousand more miles out of my car. I will be coming back and sending friends. Customer service takes its time and is personalized. I felt comfortable talking about my car with the office staff and honestly trust them, something one can not always say about others in this field.

They were very honest. Charged me to the Penny what they had estimated. They also did a complete inspection of the car and put in writing their findings. I felt they were just what I hoped for.
